Waltz of Media - It bout the People

Mr Chun Wai

Why dont you and all the respective editors & staffs do an MBO from your political masters... Freedom has a price but what i believe is all Malaysians want is "the right to know and truth be told" not how it was reported all these years.... for instance NY Times.
We are a unique country ie multi racial composition and i'm certain you are aware that the population is well aware and has matured compared to the days of 60's an 70s.

My father use to read letters and document for all races while we lived in the plantations, people just were illiterate and trusted whatever was said, we were posted every 7 odds years and i have seen all these people and how they were abused by politician with their promises every 5 years when the election came around.

The present moment 40 odd years later, majority of Malaysian are able to balance all or any news and have an opinion, its only natural as people progress, their needs differ, here we are experiencing the demand of a more liberal, open and fair media. The yesteryears tactic of deploying racialistic editorial pieces must be erased for the sake of future, Malaysian will become ONE, no political propoganda.

Look at Indonesia and India it speaks volume ie freedom of expression... India is a great example of tolerance - Sikh Prime Minister and a Muslim President - if they can do it, we can, the population mix and diversity is much larger and complex.

So, lets not sweep all the demands of the people. Every of the elected MLA has a duty to the PEOPLE. It has alyways been and will be about the people.
